Inspired by own backyard, the rolling hills of Berks County, PA. The tulip vine was a popular motif in Pennsylvania Dutch folk art, commonly found on tin trays and the front of cedar chests. This simplified design is a classic example of “folk art” - art made by an untrained person purely for personal decorative purpose. These are 100% sterling silver with sterling ear wires - original designs and hand cut from a 20 gauge sheet. They are approximately 3" long and 1/2" at their widest point.
