Inspired by my own backyard, the rolling hills of Berks County, PA. The tulip vine was a popular motif in Pennsylvania Dutch folk art, commonly found on tin trays and the front of cedar chests. This simplified design is a classic example of “folk art” - art made by an untrained person purely for personal decorative purpose. The stylized tulip trinity represents faith in yourself, faith in what you do, and faith in your fellowman. (check out the matching earrings!)
100 % sterling silver on a 20" sterling snake chain - original Skylark Studio design, hand cut from 20 gauge sterling sheet (about the thickness of a quarter). The pendant is approximately 3" long and 1/2" wide.
